Whether accidentally lost or purposely sunk as artificial reefs for divers, wrecks are fascinating to explore, and usually full of exciting marine life. Learn responsible wreck diving practices such as navigation techniques, mapping, the use of lines and reels, and advanced kicking techniques to avoid stirring up silt or disturbing marine life.

Explore the difference between wide-angle and macro photography, the different settings on your camera, as well as how to set up the camera properly. It provides the necessary knowledge and skills to assist divers and other water users effectively during emergency situations.

drift

Scuba diving in a current can be both relaxing and exhilarating. You may slowly glide over a reef, or zoom over an underwater landscape so fast it feels like flying.  During your course, you’ll learn drift diving tips from an experienced instructor and practice buoyancy control, navigation, use of surface signalling equipment, and buddy communication.

NAVIGATION

It can be easy to get disoriented whilst underwater, especially if you don’t know how to use a compass or natural navigation clues. Learn how to easily find your way back to boat or shore without returning to the surface and avoid long, exhausting swims. This course fine-tunes your observation skills and teaches you to more accurately use your compass underwater.
